These air fryer french fries are so delicious and crispy that you won’t even notice they’re not regular french fries. This is a way healthier version that you can even eat every day if you want. And believe me, once you tried them, you’ll want to eat them every single day.

This recipe couldn’t be easier. With just a few adjustments you’ll get crispy and healthy french fries that have nothing to envy of the deep fried version, and using just a fraction of the oil you’d use for frying. You can serve them on their own with either a healthy sauce or guacamole, or as a side dish with a healthy KFC style chicken 😀 😀

Although this recipe is so easy to make, it’s important to take into account the following tips:

  • You can leave the skin of the potatoes on. They get a better texture and taste.
  • Use russet potatoes, their thick skin and fluffy inside makes them perfect for french fries.
  • Once you cut them, wash the potatoes several times to remove the starch.
  • Pre heat the air fryer for a few minutes before placing the fries.
  • Make sure to stop the air fryer and stir the fries at least once while they’re baking.

How to make crispy air fryer french fries:

Ingredient (2 or 3 servings):

  • 500 grams of russet potatoes
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • Salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, rosemary

Instructions

  • Scrub the potatoes, then place them on their side and using a large knife, cut it in thin slices. Pile a few of the slices, then cut them in the other direction to create french fries.
  • Wash them in a strainer several times.
  • Place them into the basket and stir in the olive oil and spices.
  • Set the temperature at 200ºC (392ºF) and cook them for 25 minutes.
  • Remove the basket and shake or flip the potatoes at least once. Then put it back into the air fryer.
  • Done! Time to enjoy these crispy and healthy french fries.
